Meyer Family Welcome - Please be patient, we're worth waiting for.

This is a graphic intensive site!
We feel that the wait is worth it and hope you will too!

These are some of the interesting ways I spend my day.

ScrapbookingIt is all my daughter Kimberly's fault that I'm addicted!
Landscaping - I wear the white hat and carry the whip.
WordPerfect - my all time favourite - please don't email me with 500 reasons why I should be using another word processor. My mind is made up - don't confuse me with facts.
Web publishing - it keeps me from having to do anything constructive.
Canadian Military Brats - Drop by my Brat Page!

Meet My Family:

Al & I Al Meyer - My husband Al is of Dutch descent. He emigrated to Canada as a young boy, and is a Maintenance Manager for a company in southwestern Ontario. Before that he worked for a Nuclear Hydro Electric company for 27 years.
No . . . he doesn't glow in the dark!

We've been married for nearly 37 years so I think I'll keep him!

Aaron Meyer - Aaron is apprenticing at a Metal Fabrication Plant. We are missing him since he moved to his own apartment, leaving us "empty nesters."

He is into Science Fiction in a big way and is learning Japanese sword fighting. He's says it's not that he's very tall (6'6"), he's vertically challenged! ;-)

Kimberly Kimberly - Kim is an Iinformation Systems Specialist at a hospital. She recently remarried to the sweetest guy Chris you'd ever want to meet. (Wedding pictures to come eventually) They love tropical fish and have a huge aquarium in their living room. Kimberly made us grandparents in July 1996!

Samantha Christy - Born July 2 1996, 11:45 am 8 lbs 1/2 oz and the prettiest baby girl on the planet.

You can see her here!

Iona Meyer - who knows who I am! I tinker on the net; that's about it! If grownups can make wishes...I wish for *48* hours a day Internet access. I'm now devoting much of my time to spoiling my granddaughter as often as I can. I'm a Canadian Army Brat so no place is really home.

My father and a sister and brother live in BC, another brother and a sister are in Alberta, and a daughter who lives too far from us! So we are truly a cosmopolitan family. Thank heaven for email. Most of them have plugged into the net so now we can write almost everyday. I've not had such close contact with my family since I lived at home 38 years ago. It's really great because you hear about the little things that make up one's daily life. I love it!

Welcome!
